Stimulus Check: Did You Get It Yet?

Is there anyone else waiting to receive their stimulus check in the mail and it hasn't come all year? Many citizens in the US have yet to receive pandemic financial relief as promised by the IRS and current President, and I am one of them.
Through mail I filed my 2018 and 2019 taxes. I filed 2019's back in February of 2020 and it is now October and I haven't gotten my stimulus check despite calling the IRS several times over the course of the last 3 months.
I've waited on the phone to speak to a representative 30 minutes to an hour or more, filled out the requirements on the IRS website to check my status and gotten transferred through to other phone lines after addressing my issue, only to be hung up on due to long wait times. I'm still left wondering...
The point of receiving a stimulus check is to help the millions of citizens all over the world during this time of financial hardship due to the Corona Virus. The virus has effected the job market, economy, people's everyday lives and many have lost their jobs or are afraid to return to work after quarantine and that has left millions to apply for Unemployment Insurance.
People still need a way to survive day to day, a way to pay bills, a way to feed themselves or their families and receiving $1,200 would help a lot.
The only issue is, what about the citizens that haven't gotten it yet? For the past month or two there has been talk about a second round of stimulus checks. The decision to release another check has been dangled over us all by the President, with him giving hope only to slam the door, then days later he seems optimistic about it.
He's really trying to wait until after this upcoming election to do something about it, and after this that can take months to fall through. Why wait? Why should the American people wait even longer when help is available? We've been waiting for the last 6 months, the first round was released around April-May of this year, if not then than in June.
Could another $1,200 come at the end of the year? Beginning of next year? Next Spring? What about a boost in Unemployment benefits since that amount significantly dropped this Summer? How and when will something be done? How can people claim their money that's just lost in the wind? There's free money out there, but why is it so hard to claim?
